Integrating
The line organization (management and first-line leadership) is the most influential factor in shaping safe behavior on the work floor. Employees act autonomously and make their own choices. These choices are strongly influenced by the actions and behavior of the line organization. Unsafe behavior by employees therefore cannot be viewed separately from the behavior of management and first-line leadership.
Baseline measurement
Control starts with understanding what drives people. Our survey can be used as a baseline measurement to gain insight into where, when, and why control is at risk of being lost within the organization.
Step 1: Knowledge transfer
Knowledge transfer is facilitated by Brain Based Safety for two groups:
- Top management
- Internal trainers who are trained to become BBS experts (train-the-expert)
Step 2: Knowledge dissemination
Conducted by certified Brain Based Safety experts through:
- Training
- Coaching
- Advisory services
The target groups are middle management and first-line managers. They use educational materials that are made available through a license provided by Brain Based Safety B.V.
Step 3: Using knowledge
Toolbox sessions are a structured way to transfer the theory and associated competences to employees.
