For the past three years, we have been proud to serve as jury members for the Veiligste Bouwer. During this prestigious competition, construction companies are assessed on their performance in the area of safety.

The evaluation takes place in two rounds, identifying companies that are performing exceptionally well and can serve as role models for others in the construction sector. The three nominees receive the opportunity to obtain an extensive survey report. Based on the analysis of this survey, the winner is ultimately determined.

Scientific research shows that there are several leading indicators that predict future safety behavior. In the survey, we measure these indicators—together with other factors that most strongly influence behavior—across different layers of the organization. These insights provide concrete guidance for effective course correction where control may be at risk of being lost, enabling future behavior to be positively influenced.
