Safety day
To introduce organizations to BBS, we offer a free program for your Safety Day.
During the Safety Day, participants learn to understand why people do what they do, and how insight into the brain helps influence safety behavior.
Free package
Introductory animation
The session starts with a short animation explaining why knowledge of our brain is essential to improving safety. Safe behavior is not just about knowing the rules, but also about how our brain processes information and makes decisions.
Interactive, recorded lecture
An inspiring lecture featuring relatable examples, interesting facts, and insights from scientific research. Participants gain a better understanding of automatic processes, attention, decision-making, and behavior under pressure.

Practical Toolbox
An educational animation combined with targeted questions guides the group discussion. This translates theory directly to participants’ own work situations and creates an open dialogue about safety and behavior.
Together, these elements form a solid content foundation for approximately two hours of your Safety Day.
This free basic package can be expanded with additional components, depending on your objectives, target audience, and available time. In collaboration with Brain Based Safety, the Safety Day can be partially or fully customized to optimally align with your organization and learning goals.
Possible extensions
Personal introductionÂ
The day can begin with a personal introduction that explains the program and connects it to the organization.Â
Â
Live lecture
A live lecture by Brain Based Safety that provides the conceptual foundation of the day and adds further depth. This lecture can focus on different Brain Based Safety themes, depending on the organization’s needs.
Guidance for practical formats
We can also provide guidance for various practical formats that help teams discuss safety behavior in an accessible and effective way.
A special option is the bicycle that works exactly the opposite way.
This experience demonstrates, in a very direct way, how powerful automatic patterns are and how slow our conscious thinking can be. This clearly shows why training, repetition, and practice are essential to achieving sustainable behavior change.
